Pistoia Musei opens its premises to schools with a programme designed to allow pupils and students of all ages to engage with art and artists.

The activities have been devised to explore the contents of the exhibitions and collections in depth, leaving space, however, for the participants’ input. The observation of an artwork becomes an opportunity to stimulate the awareness and ideas of everyone and to trigger a constructive dialogue around art.

Guided tours, city tours, workshops, special projects and initiatives for teachers provide the opportunity to complement and enrich the educational experience of pupils and teachers alike, as well as to enhance the museum’s ability to reach out to the local area.
