Pistoia Musei presents to the public San Salvatore. Dall’abbandono a luogo di cultura (From abandonment to place of culture), the volume published by CD&V editore that gives an account of the various phases, complex but at the same time surprising, of the restoration work, the archaeological excavations and the museum layout of the former church of San Salvatore, reopened in 2022 as a museum.

On the occasion, Piero Pruneti, director of Archeologia Viva, will dialogue with Claudio Rosati, editor of the volume.

There will be present Monica Preti, director of Pistoia Musei, and the authors of the book: Nicola Becagli, architect; Alice Gerini, archaeologist; Giacomo Guazzini, art historian; Giovanni Millemaci, archaeologist; Cristina Taddei, curator archaeologist Pistoia Musei; Silvia Vilucchi and Mariavittoria Guerrini, archaeologist and scientific director of the excavation.
